Browser DJ Mix Benchmark
Last Updated: July 15, 2025
This page publishes reproducible benchmark results for VIBE MIX LAB's audio processing. All tests use rights-cleared test audio and document the environment, inputs, and results.
Methodology
Benchmarks are conducted using a fixed set of test tracks with known BPM and key values. Each test is run multiple times under controlled conditions. The test environment (OS, browser, device, memory) is documented for each result set.
Test Audio
Test tracks are original compositions or Creative Commons licensed audio with documented BPM and key. No user-uploaded audio is used in benchmarks. Track licenses and sources are listed alongside each result.
Measured Metrics
BPM detection accuracy (error vs. ground truth), key detection accuracy, processing time, output success rate, clip/silence detection, and failure conditions.
Results
Benchmark results will be published here once the measurement framework is finalized. Results will include CSV/JSON data for machine readability and independent verification.
Reproduction
Each benchmark includes the test audio source, input parameters, and step-by-step reproduction instructions. Third parties are encouraged to run independent verifications and report discrepancies.
Known Limitations
Documented failure conditions and edge cases. Includes tracks where BPM/key detection is known to be inaccurate, device-specific memory limits, and browser-specific issues.
Update History
Benchmark results are updated when the algorithm changes or new test cases are added. Each update includes a diff from the previous results.
